Workflow and Lifecycle - restricting manual promotion of life cycle states.
Hi I have a workflow and lifecye defined for an item type.
Say if the current workflow task is "start" - my life cycle of the item is promoted from "Draft" to "Active".
However before voting the user is able to manually promote the lifecycle from draft to active. Is there any way to restrict the manual promotion of the item when workflow is involved.

On the lifecycle, try setting the role to ARAS PLM, this I a system identity which will allow voting from the workflow, but users will see "no promotions available" when they try to promote the item.
