Automatic Lifecycle status changing

Hi, Automatic lifecycle status change by using workflow.
  1. I have created the lifecycle and workflow.
  2. Basically when one task is finished in an workflow then the lifecycle status should be changed automatically for an item type. how it is possible.
  3. Which configuration has to be done.
kindly do the needful.

    thank you very much. i did it. But i am getting below error when i configured it and while creating an new part.   Aras.Server.Core.ItemIsLockedException   Please help me.

    Hi, There is a great documentation if you go in help-> just ask innovator and then look at Innovator Administrations -> Workflows -> Workflow Promotions It's basically configured from the Promotion tab of the workflow activity.
