Failed to send an email: Error in processing. The server response was: 5.7.3 STARTTLS is required to send mail [MW3PR05CA0008.namprd05.prod.outlook.com 2023-11-15T10:22:28.631Z 08DBE433C395C332] - Aras 22

Hi Guys, I need help.

I am facing below mentioned error while sending mail in workflow activity(Aras22).

Failed to send an email: Error in processing. The server response was: 5.7.3 STARTTLS is required to send mail [MW3PR05CA0008.namprd05.prod.outlook.com 2023-11-15T10:22:28.631Z 08DBE433C395C332]

In IIS server, I installed virtual smtp and moreover tls encryption also enabled. Meanwhile, I installed SSL certificate for secure website.

can anyone have solution or suggestion kindly reply.

    Hi,

    which port do you use? In my case only port 587 worked for SMPT emails, not port 465 and of course not 25. In my case in the past also some firewall settings blocked the emails.

        I remember I used a simple test Method for checking the SMPT server connection and I always got the STARTTLS error message. But sending emails from Innovator it self worked. 
        Does it work when you use the unsecure variant without encryption (just for testing)?

        Have you asked Aras support already? As you mention Aras 22 you obviously have a subscription.
