Creating export packages "PackageElement... Already exists"
I'm creating a demo environment and want to export the new Part definitions and Forms that I have created. When I try to add Part or Form to my new package, I get Unable to add item Form PackageElement (PackageElement) with Element Id '47573682FB7549F59ADECD4BFE04F1DE' already exists. Both part and form already exist in com.aras.innovator.solution.PLM, which I would have expected to use in the "Depends on" section. I can use this PLM package and remove all the other item types and then export, but it would be more convenient to just use my custom package. This seems to be possible as seen in the packages for the aras training here. This includes what I want and more: How do I achieve this? Follow-on question: is it possible to filter what is exported? For example to only export members a certain part classification? Thank you!7.4KViews0likes5CommentsLogin error on the PackageImport/Export utility
Hi, So recently I installed Innovator V12, after having uninstalled V11. Everything works fine, except when I try to use the PackageImport/Export utility. It gives me the following Error: Login errors ****ErrorMessage**** faultstring: Failed login to Innovator; original error: <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="">schemas.xmlsoap.org/.../" xmlns:i18n="">www.aras.com/I18N"><SOAP-ENV:Body><SOAP-ENV:Fault> <faultcode>999</faultcode> <faultstring>System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.</faultstring> <faultactor>HttpServerConnection</faultactor> <detail>unknown error</detail> </SOAP-ENV:Fault></SOAP-ENV:Body></SOAP-ENV:Envelope> faultdetail:Failed login to Innovator; original error: <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="">schemas.xmlsoap.org/.../" xmlns:i18n="">www.aras.com/I18N"><SOAP-ENV:Body><SOAP-ENV:Fault> <faultcode>999</faultcode> <faultstring>System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.</faultstring> <faultactor>HttpServerConnection</faultactor> <detail>unknown error</detail> </SOAP-ENV:Fault></SOAP-ENV:Body></SOAP-ENV:Envelope> Unable to login. faultcode: -100 ******************* I have tried to login with the same credentials in the Webbrowser and it worked. Hello everybody, I have the following question: I would like to export some basic modifications of the CUI (User Interface). For Example I would like to hide some Buttons or add some separators for the different toolbars and menues. After finishing my modifications on the CUI I'm not sure how to export those modifications and which target package I should selectfor export. It would be very nice if someone can give me some hints. Maybe there is also a general overview about the export of suche configurations and which target package should be used. Best Regards Sebastian4.9KViews1like1Comment
