Replacing a License

I run Aras on a cloud based VM Ware image - so whenever I deploy it the machine gets a new MAC Address and that invalidates the current Aras license. I can generate a new one straight away no problem but how do I replace the existing one ? I found something in an old installation guide and tried it - replacing the <License line in the InnovatorServerConfig.xml file and then restarting IIS - but then instead of the invalid license message - Aras just becomes unresponsive when I try to login How do I replace the existing license ?   I'm running 11.0 SP9

    I found the issue. After deploying a new VM Instance it gets a new server name - which becomes part of the SQL Server Database name. You must open SQL Server Management Studio - browse for the new server instance name and record it - and update the InnovatorServerConfig.xml file with the new DB name. Of course you also have to replace the <License entry in that same file
