Error while Vote in Express ECO

I faced two problems in Express ECO:
  1. I have part which is in Released state, I added that part to Express ECO and change the "Item action" to "Revise", but while "Approve Plan" vote, I got error something like this:
Internal Error: failed to get the transition to promote the Part from Released to In Change. what does it means? I am learning change management, specially express ECO and DCO, so what are the steps do I need to follow? I watched demo videos on aras website, follow what they did, but got above Error. and 2. While creating a Express ECO, When I try to add the which is in "Inwork" state, Then also I got a error that Part should be in Released or Preliminary state.

    Use the Express ECO, that's the easiest. No you shouldn't give permission to admin for vote.

    Hi Yoann, I have one question: Which workflow should I use for Part to release it? and is it a good practice to give permission to admin for vote? regards, Maddy.

    Ok, then that's the reason. The Express ECO is processing a few lifecycle promotion on the Part. So, if it doesn't find the necessary lifecycle transition it doesn't work. You either have to use the out of the  box lifecycle for Part or you need to make sure that at least the right states and transitions are there.

    Hi Yaonn, Thanks for your reply, I used custom lifecycle and workflow for a part, and about ECO workflow I didn't modify anything.

    Did you change the Part lifecycle transitions? Workflows use Aras PLM identity to run a promotion, so if you replaced ArasPLM with something, that might be the reason. And regarding your second question, yes, your part should be either in Released or preliminary state to be added to the Express ECO
