changing an existing Aras 12 installation

Hi Angelalp

I used the new installer which bizzarely took me to the old instance

in fact the root problem is errors in .net and iis so the aras application never got the chance to run

    I looked at the windows server console and everything is erroring! its a wall of errors there is corruption of dotnet.exe and KERNELBASE.dll

      Do you get a error message when trying to start Innovator? These are more easier to identify then the windows messages.

      By default installing certain Innovator versions (like 12SP9) kill the server.  Typically you will get Error 503 as in this video:

      This error literally kills complete IIS. Your problem sounds similiar.
