Clickable hyperlink data type in form
How to create hyperlink data type in form using javascrpt or C#, and make the entered text a hyperlink,
, clickable-link directly in an input box when in view mode.

- Hi, It all depends on what you want to show as a link. Is it an Aras Item which you want to access via a hyperlink or is it something else? If it is just an Aras Item, it is then just an item property (look at at Problem Report and check for example the affected item property)
- It is a simple URL form field, edit as URL text in the form input, need to be clickable once save and close
- Is there any idea?
- I would suggest in a client method that you check if the item is locked. If it is unlocked, after form is populated, you replace the input text field by a "a" tag with your value inside and also as an "href" attribute. it will only work on forms, not in grids.
- you want to follow the link when you click?
