Aras to SAP and Salesforce data exchange

I think for both system many of the Aras partners offers integration solution. But if you do not fear coding, you can also do it by yourself.
As far I as know, both Salesforce and SAP support communication with REST. So it should be possible to use a federation approach to connect these systems.
