Hi everyone! We’re thrilled to have you here in our new and improved community space.

This community is designed to be your go-to destination to connect, share, troubleshoot, and learn alongside fellow Aras users, partners, and enthusiasts.

    Hi Eli,

    The invitation mailing "Welcom to Aras Community" looked like fishing. I could not verify if this was legit. http://aras.cloud dit not work and the urls of the links could not be traced that is came from aras itself. 

    I went to the community site by myself and logged in there. This was the  https:// community. aras. com/  website. That was another reason why I was suspicious because it was not the annouced aras.cloud.  

    Can you make mailings better verifiable if it is legit?

      Hi Peter, 

      Thanks for sharing your concern here so we can address it for anyone else with the same question. In short, the "You've Been Invited to Aras Community" email from mailto:[email protected] is legit. Here's what mine looks like, if any existing community members haven't seen theirs yet: 

      The aras.cloud domain is fairly new to us, so I understand why you'd think twice about clicking the links in the email. We sent out an email from mailto:[email protected] last Thursday with info about the signup process, but it may have gotten lost in your inbox or filtered out.

      I'll chat with the rest of the team to see if there's any way we can make it clearer that the aras.cloud email is valid communication from Aras.

      Hi Bryan! Users are not yet able to change their own usernames, but the team is working on that capability. This is a temporary phase as we continuously improve the login experience across Aras services. 

      In the meantime, we can provide 1-on-1 assistance to anyone interested in changing their username. Just email us your preferred username at mailto:[email protected] and we’ll update the system for you.

        Quick update on this topic for anyone with the same question - we’re currently unable to update usernames, but our team is investigating a way to do so. 

        If you want to change your username, you should still email us at mailto:[email protected] and we’ll batch update them once we have a solution. 

        Update: We are able to update user names! Just email mailto:[email protected] and the team will help you out.
