Unfortunately, it's not possible to mimic the 'effective' query type in the relationship search dialog. The relationship search dialog only allows you to search for relationships based on the current state of the item, without the ability to specify a date or time frame. To avoid selecting the latest version of the module when entering retrospective jobs, users will need to be reminded to use the generation > 0 search criteria or use the main search grid with the 'effective' query type.
