Post Disappeared?

I had a pretty long post written up in the development forums, when I hit publish it disappeared...

Is there an approval process or something? Or is it gone?

Hi Bryan, Just checked and it seems the post did get flagged as spam by our automatic system. I've gone ahead and approved the post you mentioned. I'll also work with Eli going forward to figure out why this is happening and fix it.

  • Edit: I also have to add my link as plain text cause I constantly got erros when using the clickable hyperlink (copy&pasted from browser). Here is a screenshot of my original content, taken from the local screenshot folder - not snipping tool directly.....

  • Tried reposting, at least its giving me an error this time, but I want to use images and code

      Welcome to the club! 🙂

Funny enough, this is actually the same question I asked a while ago — and you even tried to help me back then.

I currently always copy my post text to the clipboard before submitting it in this forum, just to be safe. I think I´ve had issues with images in the past as well. Here´s a test with a Snipping Tool image:

When copy pasting the image directly from Snipping tool, I get an error with li-image just like you.

<image removed cause it refused to upload...>

eli_donahue I'm not sure how you could get this fixed but it is demotivating to spend the time working on a post only to have it disappear. I did rewrite and submit it a second time (luckily I saved a copy this time), it appeared to work but upon refresh the post was gone again.

The error message might have generated the error from having a bullet point in front of the code block, but I have no idea what went wrong after I fixed that. There was a code block for javascript and one for C#, maybe that triggered some spam filter?
