HTTP Error 500.19 after installing Innovator 2025 - Solved

I recently installed the Community version of Aras Innovator on a windows 11 24H2 computer. Installation completed with no errors but when trying to browse to //localhost/InnovatorServer/Client I got an HTTP Error 500.10 ( it also referenced the web.config file but there was nothing wrong with it.

The solution was to download and install the MS .Net 8.0 Hosting bundle from

https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0/runtime

https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-aspnetcore-8.0.18-windows-hosting-bundle-installer

Once that was done and IIS restarted , the client responded properly.

    Hello,

    After installing the .NET 8.0 Hosting Bundle, how do I check if IIS is properly configured to run an ASP.NET Core application, especially the application pool or module mapping settings?
