- the one for subscribers : For subscribers you will access a tab on the left side of the form that allows you to access the PDF viewers for pdf conversion of CAD documents. This is for subscribers because we use the technology of our partner techsoft.
- the old fashion way using native viewers: Create a view in a tab to display the CAD company's viewer. There has been examples of such things with JT or 3DXML ( https://www.aras.com/projects/project-view.aspx?id=DC3CD7802B3E447EA7EC1A6148AD5285 )

Hi, I have a similar problem. I am using Aras in its free version, as Administrator. Everything works fine except for the display of CAD files (Rhinoceros 3D and Solidworks) and word documents. I can correctly load the files in the Native File field but I can not see them, what happens is that an empty window opens and the file automatically downloads. How could I solve this problem? Will it be related to the vault of my server?

Hello,
Have you configured a viewer for the ItemTypes from Rhinoceros 3D and Solidworks? The link Yoann provided above seems to be deprecated now, but you can look at the project here for an example (https://github.com/ArasLabs/3dxml-viewer). The project was built in a much older version of Innovator, but the process should be the same.

The instruction in the link isn´t clear: copy the folder Innovator in your local folder .. \ 3dxml-viewer \, already execute the other steps but I can not find the local folder

Hi Maria,
I noticed that you posted this same question in several other forum posts. We ask that you please create only a single post per question. Our forums highlight the most recent activity, so creating multiple comments to ask the same thing can hide other people's questions unnecessarily.
Your question seems to be most related to the original question Maddy asked, so I've deleted the duplicate questions on the other forum posts.
