Hi Eli
Many thanks, I should have thought of something like that!
It is more convenient for me to use IE rather than a 2 year old version of Firefox. I have followed the instructions in the document "Aras Innovator 11.0 Client Settings for Internet Explorer on Windows" and was getting this message when trying to connect:
"The security settings of your web browser are preventing .NET controls from loading."
However, I downloaded and ran sdns.exe but now get this message:
"Full operation of Aras Innovator is not supported. Hosting of .NET controls inside Internet Explorer is disabled. Please see your administrator to review your settings, or click Continue to proceed with reduced functionality."
Apparently I have to edit a registry entry to solve this, but as far as I understand it this causes a serious security issue. Would you recommend doing this? What functionality would I lose if I don't? I am not accessing Aras from inside a corporate network.
Thanks.
Steve
