Aras Innovator v12 with a v11 database

Hello, Is it possible to connect Aras Innovator v12 with a database configured with Aras Innovator v11 ? And all of this with a free license. Thank you

Hi Alber,

Aras Innovator databases are service pack specific. For example, an 11.0 SP12 database won't be able to connect to a 12.0 instance or an 11.0 SP15 instance.

That being said if you use the Package Import/Export tools to package your changes from your 11.0 database, you should be able to import them into your 12.0 database. We have a couple blogs you can check out on packaging custom items and on packaging customizations to existing items.
