  • Hello, There's just one step that you're missing from this. After creating the list, you need to create a new property on the Part ItemType of type List and the new List as a data source to that property.
    1. Login as admin
    2. Navigate to Administration > ItemTypes
    3. Search for and open the Part ItemType
    4. Lock this ItemType
    5. In the properties tab, add a new property
      1. Name: cities
      2. Label: Cities
      3. Data Type: List
      4. Data Source: *Search for and select the List of cities you created
    6. Save the Part ItemType
    7. Go to the Part Form
    8. Add a field for this new property
      1. In the toolbar of the form editor, you should see a dropdown called "Unused Properties"
      2. Select the new "Cities" property you added in Step 5
      3. This should automatically add a dropdown to the form and link it to this "Cities" property
    9. Save the Form
    10. Open any Part and confirm that the dropdown has been added to the form and that the dropdown is populated with the Cities from your List
