StartItem Hyperlink

I'm trying to open the following hyperlink that's embedded in my email:

https://aras.XXX.com/innovatorserverX/Client/X-salt=2_11.0.0.6812-X/scripts/Innovator.aspx?StartItem=MIN_1149:141C3E77D95A459BAAC7C3BFD5E63F8E

but I get the following error:

Can not open this item from URL. Check your link.

It is safe to close this helper window

 

It’s strange because if I first open this item in Aras and then close it. The hyperlink will always work after that.

      Hi Gopikrishnan,

      cool, thanks for this one! Didn´t know that this is possible. 

      In addition some remark to the shown link. I would not recommend you to use a link that contains the X-salt counter. When your X-salt value increases, user´s would work on old cache data which may lead to all kind of strange errors. 

      Better use a reduced link:

      https://aras.XXX.com/innovatorserverX/default.aspx?StartItem=

        Hi Guys,

        I tried both suggestions and it still doesn't work. It's so strange that every StartItem I use works except the one for this itemtype. The weird thing is if I open the record that the StartItem is pointing to directly within Aras and then close it, the Hyperlink then works.
