Hi Mily,
The column widths and orders of the standard Aras grids are stored on the user's preferences which you can find under Administration > Preferences in the TOC. It might be possible to store the widths of your custom grid inside of these preferences as well. Could you let us know what kind of custom grid this is? (e.g. a Grid item or a custom form/html page)
