Revisions not working properly on custom item types

I have a custom item type that has Versionable enabled. I can "Version" the part when in manual versioning mode, which modifies the "Generation". I do not have the "Create New Revision" Option in the...

Having some posting issues when including html for a linked image. Here are literal links. again. Chris, ran this through on a custom item type as well. Currently working with customized Models. Screen shot of settings. I have added the Actions method to the "actions" menu.
