Querying the list of bom related parts

hello,

I have parts which have a list of related part (part bom relationship). i want to retrieve the list of the related parts  (as items would be great but just a list of the ids would be fine)

i want to do it either in c# or through aml and i want tu use an objet method called on the parent part.

i'm really struggling with the structure of the query.
