Can anyone help me how do i bring pop-up when i promote an item for correct action.

Do you need a custom pop-up or the regular "choose path" pop-up?
You can display a custom pop-up by bypassing the original promote action. Basically you have to replace the original promote CUI element with a custom element. This way you can show a custom dialog and then do the promotion based on user input.
I think I need a custom pop up
