Part Permission is Not Updating Upon State Changes

Hi This is Kara . 

I am working on part Item . We have part with Revision "AA" and state as "Preliminary" so according to OOTB part LC respected permission is showing. Now i "Released" this Part so part has set permissions "Released Part". Now Revising to next Revision say "AA01" after revising state is "Preliminary" but in this case , part states is "Preliminary" and permission showing is "Released part".

If anyone has clue why this behavior is occurring?  

I checked OOTB Lifecycle is correct in the system.

    Hi Kara

    Can you check what is the default permission added for Part item type. 

    Navigate to Administrator --> Item Type --> Search and Open Part item type

    Navigate to Permissions tab

    can you confirm correct permission added in that.

      Hi ,

      Thank you for suggesting, Permissions are set as per OOTB only , we have not modified it.

      In our case we are revising Part Through AML. But for Preliminary state is is not taking up "New part" Permissions .
