Hello Experts, We need to implement a scenario where in only Items created by the logged in user should be visible to him when the user put * in the simple search. For example if the user go and clicks on ECN Item type, and he puts * in the name field then select simple search. When the search is performed only ECN created by him should be displayed in the query result. any help is highly appreciated. Thanks,

To expand on alibasha's answer, you can edit the permissions for whichever ItemType you want to restrict. The below configuration should allow only the creator of the ECN to see it, as well as administrators.

You could either create a new permission or edit the existing permission, and attach it to the ItemType.

  I appreciate if you can explain how to make the items visible not only to the creator but also visible to his/her team. For example, No other user/ team have to get the item 'A' of an ItemType 'part' data except the creator and his/her team 'A'.

    You should be able to add the team identity to the permission, which would allow grant the permissions to the whole team.
