I am configuring dashboards in Aras using java and would like to know the best way to create a filtering option in dashboard similar to PowerBI ?

I would like to develop a slicer option similar to Power BI for my simple configured dashboards in our ARAS sand box database. The dashboard is created by utilizing a javascript and several arguments that will be selected by the user. Once the dashboard is created, other users may want to view the subset of data by project id variable.
