Good day.  I saw this post from last year, Refresh Content Item, that provided a possible answer.  Christopher Gillis mentions that there is a line that can be used inside of your code that should refresh the page. 

aras.uiReShowItem(itemId, itemId);

He added this note with it.

Note that you'll need to replace itemId in the function code provided with the actual ID of the parent item.
