Custom 'Save' Behaviour

Hello, My 'part' ItemTypes is setup with Automatic Versioning but i want to  prohibit the modification if the status of the Part is released  (In this case the user must create a new version manual...

It is possible by setting permission in life cycle of a part item type to prevent user from editing it. 

You can also set released state as final state in part life cycle to prevent user from modifying that

    Thanks for your reply Gopikrishnan.

    In the part life cycle the Released State has  already Released checked. That's what you mean ?

      Yes and you need to mark it as not lockable

        Ok, It works  like I want  with the 'not lockable'  checked.
