Checkout manager vs. different Files with the same file name
Hi,
The checkout manager is a useful function for downloading multiple files at once. But sometimes I have trouble with files with the same filename.
Files with the same name will overwrite each other when downloading them. This is very useful, when files with the same files are really the same files. But I also have some files, that share the same filename, but are not the same physical files.
Is it possible to check and rename files with the checkoutManager while downloading them?
What is the best way to handle this usecase?
I currently use the following code:
Item files = this.newItem("File","get");
files.setAttribute("idlist", idlist); // contains multible file id´s
files=files.apply();
IomFactory iom = new IomFactory();
Aras.IOME.CheckoutManager cm = iom.CreateCheckoutManager(files);
cm.DownloadFiles(@"C:\Temp\myfiles", 1);
