Attach file to Aras object using AML

Hi, I'm relatively new to Aras and have been looking at importing data from a legacy system (records have been extracted to csv format) into Aras. For the most part I haven been successful. I've used python to generate AML for ingestion and then used a third party tool to process the AML. Where I'm stuck is the AML required to attach a file to an Aras record. (ie to use AML to represent what would be done when selecting the 'Attachments' tab and adding a new file). So lets say I have already successfully created a new object of a record type of MY_RECORD_TYPE and a file C:\newfile.txt on the Aras server, is it possible to construct AML to add this file. (I believe there's also some work to be done to add the file to the vault? )
