How to integrate revit tool to Aras . Please provide the details .

In an industrial context, how would several companies that partenered up on a project share a CAD file and modify it with some version control ? Is there something like Git for CAD files, or GrabCAD for enterprise ?
I have integrated Aras with Revit using Autodesk Viewer dll.
