Using LoadRunner with ARAS Innovator R35

We're attempting to use LoadRunner with our ARAS Innovator R35 instance to validate the load performance. When trying to record an initial script of simply logging into the application we're seeing load runner throw an error once the script recording is done :

'The recorded script contains no steps'

Would anyone have any experience on getting LoadRunner working with ARAS Innovator? 

We're using LoadRunner version 25.3 and ARAS Innovator R35.
