I have a part which was in released state and revision A. After making some changes, it has moved to revision B and preliminary state. The assemblies related to the part show revision A.
I want to revert the part to revision A with released state so that when I click on Views-->where used, I can see all the assemblies related to it.

Hi Barnali
You can try purge action in Part B revision (right click and select Purge this revision option). This will bring the part to previous generation. (you can try purge multiple time to bring it to A revision)

Right click on the part and select Purge action is not working ?
I was able to Purge by selecting Edit > Purge. It deleted the current version & when I searched for the document I found the previous version.

Purge will delete latest generation not the latest revision. you need to purge till it reach the required revision.
