Hi Vivian,
Typically, we don't expect a Part to be changed once it's in the released state. In order to make any edits, we would recommend first creating a new revision of the Part. This new revision will automatically be set back to the Preliminary state.
There are two ways you can create a new revision for a Part.
- If you are the owner of the Part, you can run the "Create New Revision" action under the Actions menu
- You can add the Part to a Change Management item and choose to create a new revision of the Part from there
- A new revision of the Part will be created when the CM item has been completely voted through its workflow
