Batch Update of Item Type

Is there  way to do a batch update of existing Items in Aras. For example, if a new property is added to and Item type, I'd like to do a mass update using Excel similar to BatchLoader, except updat...

Thank you Chis.  Is there a toggle in the graphical interface that can be toggled for this as well?

After poking around, I didn't see an option.  Would it be something I put in the text file?

If you're using the Wizard in the BatchLoader GUI to generate your template, there is not a toggle to set it to edit instead of add by default. However, once the template is generated, you can manually edit the AML there to change the action from add to edit.

    This is the syntax we endedu using to update a column 2 based on the column 1 (keyed name).

    <Item type="CAD" action="edit" where="keyed_name='@1'">

      <property>@2</_property>

    </Item>
