It possible, but it depends on the complexity of your environment. Personally I would set up an independent (!!!) test server, mirror the 11SP9 and try the patch. 

- Do you have a lot of custom Methods? Form calls might have changed in these versions, but I am not sure
- Do you have a subscription?
