Reset Sequence No

Question

i want to delete some data of itemtype&nbsp; Part

but when i delete Part the sequence no. associated with is removed

hence i want to reset sequence no. for remaining data of Part item type

how i reset it

as i delete part having sequence no.&nbsp; Part56, Part57

i want assign this no to other Part

if you just deleted the latest ones then you can go to your sequence and change the current value number.

if you delete numbers that are not the latest one and you want them to be reassigned, then you need to write a specific method.

can you give sample code for this

i deleted Part item type having sequence no. - 56,57,58

and i also have Part having sequence no 58,59, 60 ,61 upto 70

i want to assign this deleted part sequence to 58, 59,60 upto 70

to make it serially
