Hello, please reach out to licenses@aras.com with your company information and they should be able to help you out.
I have encountered the same difficulties and have already given licenses@aras.com Sent an email, but did not receive a reply. May I ask what I should do? Thank you!

It can happen that your request ends up in the spam filter. Some general tips:
1. Avoid using a generic email address like gmail, hotmail, yahoo,.... .
2. Have an email signature so they know who you are. They need to be able to identify your account.
3. Avoid adding attachments for this specific contact address (spam filter!!)
4. Add your server MAC address AND the version number of the target Innovator!
5. Maybe add a short description why you need the license (server update). It still should be possible to get licenses for legacy versions. Aras has just removed the license generator from the homepage for a few practical reasons.
1. It helps them to identify which Innovator instances are alive and active.
2. Prevents people from registering dozens of instances that are never used
3. Prevents people from registering dozens of instances that ARE used (=ensures a fair usage of the open release).
4. Bonus: It offers their sales team a reason to reach out to you :)Nothing to worry about. Last year, Aras experimented a bit with the open release formula. It’s still an ongoing process.

1) Makes no sense.
2) Doesn't matter in any way.
3) Doesn't matter in any way.
4) Only real reason.
The end result of this is that someone uses Aras as a trial or in a small company that could never afford it, gets burned (like me) and receives absolutely no help on something that should be a super simple fix/requests, then when they move to other companies where Aras could have been a good fit- obviously do not recommend it and even warn against using it. Whereas we all know that when we receive good support from companies/products, we bring them with us to new places of work and recommend them. Basically, this is a red flag against Aras, and one of the most basic in the book.- AngelaIp6 months agoIdeator I
1) Believe it or not, I know a few numbers as I sometimes work with partners. Theoretically they have millions of users/installations just because of the "fake instances".
I once had a fun talk with Aras sales were they were confused why I asked for a 100 subscription for a 253 people instance. Turned out it was one of my test instances with 253 fake users they identified as main instance (while they didn´t even know my real main instance).2) Agree, it´s more a thing of clean data.
3) In the past people mixed subscription versions with open versions.
4) You get something for free, give them the opportunity to at least "ask" if there is something else they can do.
Main question: Do you have trouble to get a license key?
Edit: I don´t say that their current open release setup is perfect. I am an open release user by myself. But just because Aras changed something, it doesn´t mean it will remain this way forever. I was surprised that hardly anyone talked about the latest open release. Regarding Release 2024 is was mainly me.
