Variability Management
Hello All, I created the rule inside the rule editor for a particular variability item. When I try to look this particular rule in the database perspective, there is one column named as 'definition' in the VM_RULE table. This column is mandatory column and it has the XML data of that particular rule. My question here is, I want to know the sequence of methods from UI side which are getting triggered too create such XML. Could you please help me out here ? Thanks in advance.
How can the Variant Manager incorporate with the regular Part BOM?
Hi community, I currently play around with the variant manager community project (https://github.com/ArasLabs/vm-sample-application). But I still have some trouble to understand how it´s intended to incorporate with my existing Innovator environment, especially with Aras PE Part and Change Management. My goal is that end users can build Part BOMs faster. We have products that are highly configurable, but most of the time just a small part of the product differs from the rest. Can I use the variant manager for this task? Is it possible to use the variant manger to create new Parts with variant based BOM structures automatically? Hope somebody can give me some insights. Order object missing
Hello, I made a totally free installation of Aras 11.0 SP12 and i'm trying to test the Variant Management. I downloaded the sample project of the aras labs on githubs (https://github.com/ArasLabs/vm-sample-application) for Aras 11.0 SP12. Everything seems to work fine except i can't find the section "Order" in the portfolio menu (As shown in the following demo video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUBacSiXmIw). How do i get the "Order" section ? Any ideas ? Thank you !
