Combine and selectively export PDFs in Innovator
Hello! I'm looking for something to add into Innovator that would allow my users to take multiple documents with attached PDFs and be able to selectively output them as a single PDF. For example, I could have 3 3-page PDFs. I want page 1 from PDF 1, page 2 from PDF 2, and page 3 from PDF 3 but not their other pages to be exported a single, new PDF (only 3 pages, not 9). Are there any tools or converters you're aware of which are compatible with Innovator? Preferably something that can be embedded into the Aras installation as our clients use secured, on-prem versions and thus can't make calls out to other websites. Thanks in advance for your help.
Office Connector - PowerPoint Issues
Hello, I am currently working on setting up a template for ARAS Office Connector for Microsoft PowerPoint. By writing a custom VBA script I am able to get the Custom Properties to display on a slide, but the issue I am having is how to have the field/text update when the Custom Property is changed? Has anyone else created a solution for a PowerPoint template that can solve this or approached this in a different way to solve setting up a PowerPoint template?Customizing BatchLoader in ARAS 31 to Add Users with Identities
Hi everyone, I recently migrated from ARAS version 11 to version 31. In ARAS 11, we used the BatchLoader tool to import user data from an Excel file, which included both user details and their associated identities. However, after migrating to ARAS 31, I noticed that the BatchLoader no longer supports adding users and identities together in a single operation. The AML mapping now restricts us to using only one ItemType at a time, which makes it difficult to replicate our previous process. Has anyone tried customizing the BatchLoader in ARAS 31 to overcome this limitation? I’d really appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to achieve this. How to check if a floating license(xPlm CadConnector) is in use or not?
We have 5 floating licenses of xPlmCad connector. Sometimes, the license is not released when the user logs out. We were given a new key to use and we want to try it out. How\Where do I check to see if the floating license is in use? It would be great if we can see the users using the license. This information is not in the License Manager.
PDM Pro Connector Compatibility with Innovator 14+
Does anyone currently use the PDM Pro Connector? We are in the middle of a migration to Innovator version 15. We want to integrate with our SolidWorks PDM system to manage the native files, register parts, and have workflow approvals driven from PLM. We tried installing the connector and the installer fails with an “incompatible version”, Aras support indicated PDM Cad Connector 12.0R4 is not compatible and no version of PDM connector is compatible. Just curious to see if anyone else has the PDM Pro Connector in their implementation. Thanks, Jake
