Automatic Lifecycle status changing
Hi, Automatic lifecycle status change by using workflow. I have created the lifecycle and workflow. Basically when one task is finished in an workflow then the lifecycle status should be changed automatically for an item type. how it is possible. Which configuration has to be done. kindly do the needful.
EZ Installer - Headless Installation from Config
I would like very much to have a command line install instruction with a config. Instead of all the GUI interaction and clicking and typing in the installer I would very much like to do something using JSON, especially, or A|XML that covers all the parameters the click-through process covers. installation - name - addresses - folders - db installation.folders - root - vault installation.db - connection_type - name - credentials (or, maybe enter these in at the commandline) ...and so on. And, if I were to reverse the whole process so you know your db connection is good before adding folders, that'd be great. $ ./InnovatorInstaller --config ~/our_servers/dev_server_02.json ........Installing.................DB Connected...........FS Paths added with no errors....DB Installed......File tree installed...... .........Happy coding! Automatic Parent-relationship in Child item set, when Child-relationship set from Parent item
Hi, I have created a Document-to-Document relationship for the Document itemtype with the goal of relating child documents to the parent - simple enough. However, now I want to design a system such that it behaves as below: I open the Parent document, navigate to the its Document-to-Document relationship create a relationship to another document and indicate it as Child Now, if I navigate to the Child document, in its Document-to-Document relationship, the Parent Doc is automatically listed as a related Document, and automatically indicated as Parent (because in step 2, the Child document was set to 'Child') I am not sure how to go about setting the relationship in the Child/Parent item to update automatically "off-screen" when the initial Parent/Child is set. I plan to start by look into the CAD-Part relationship which behaves similarly to what I envision, but not sure which method I should be looking at.
Office Connector - PowerPoint Issues
Hello, I am currently working on setting up a template for ARAS Office Connector for Microsoft PowerPoint. By writing a custom VBA script I am able to get the Custom Properties to display on a slide, but the issue I am having is how to have the field/text update when the Custom Property is changed? Has anyone else created a solution for a PowerPoint template that can solve this or approached this in a different way to solve setting up a PowerPoint template?
