Document Revision List of Changed Document Files
Hi all, Is it possible, for a document, to provide a view of a list of document revisions where each revision on the list only describes changes to the attached document file(s)? On Version 11 SP 9, there is a "Revisions" selection under "Views" menu, but this shows all revisions including that of document container changes (changes to the title, description, etc). Looking for a list of changes to the attached file(s) only. According to someone that I used to work with, whom I can no longer contact, this feature used to exist in a legacy version of Innovator where there was an additional menu item "File Revisions" under "Views" menu. Hi all, We are currently on Aras Innovator Version 11.0 SP9. From my understanding, the latest service pack available for Version 11.0 is SP15. My question is, is it still possible to upgrade from SP9 to SP15? If so, what would be the effort/duration required to do so? Is it a complicated procedure or a relatively simple one? I have a problem to set the replication rules. This is the scenario: I have 4 vaults: VICO - is the principal Vault IPG - EINS - MRP are secondary vaults installed in remote offices. All users have configured only Default Vault (no read vaults). My goal is: All files created in the remote Vaults will be copied in the principal Vault immediately (OnChange). When a user in a remote office opens a file in a remote Vaults ( the file isn't in his default Vault) it will be replicated onDemand. Example: User A has the VICO vault as Default. User B has the IPG vault as Default. User C has the EINS vault as Default. Example 1 User A creates the file Test1.doc and saves it in VICO vault. User B request Test1.doc files, the replication copy the Test1.doc from VICO to IPG. User C request Test1.doc files, the replication copy the Test1.doc from VICO to EINS. Example 2 User C creates the file Test2.doc and saves it in EINS vault, the replication starts immediately to copy the file on the VICO vault. User B ask the file Test2.doc, the replication copy the Test2.doc from EINS to IPG (OnDemand). User A asks the file Test2.doc, this file is already in VICO vault, don't start any replication. For implement this configuration I create these replication rules: On VICO vault: Rule 1: VICO TO IPG Initiator Type: onDemand Replication Mode: Immediate Replication Type: Copy Target Vaults: IPG Rule 2: VICO TO EINS Initiator Type: onDemand Replication Mode: Immediate Replication Type: Copy Target Vaults: EINS Rule 3: VICO TO MRP Initiator Type: onDemand Replication Mode: Immediate Replication Type: Copy Target Vaults: MRP On IPG vault: Rule 1: IPG TO VICO Initiator Type: onChange Replication Mode: Immediate Replication Type: Copy Target Vaults: VICO Rule 2: IPG TO EINS Initiator Type: onDemand Replication Mode: Immediate Replication Type: Copy Target Vaults: EINS Rule 3: IPG TO MRP Initiator Type: onDemand Replication Mode: Immediate Replication Type: Copy Target Vaults: MRP And the same on the other remote vaults. The problem is that sometimes I find records in the Replication Transactions that don't match at these rules and it doesn't elaborate and this causes a stop of replication. For example, I have a "Replication Transiction" in error with these information: From Vault: MRP To Vault: VICO Status: NotStarted The rule applied: onDemand MRP TO EINS Message: "Failed to download file from the source vault: Access to the path 'E:\Aras\Vault\ArasInterpump\9\FE\7F48606A349E4B48DCA92E54F35D3\Y1NL0027R9-00023736.pdf' is denied." The Aras Agent tries to execute the transaction every one minute with the same error, the transaction doesn't remove from the queue of "Replication Transaction" and all other transactions don't execute. The file Y1NL0027R9-00023736.pdf is created by a user that works on VICO vault.4.8KViews0likes1CommentImporting Error: Form with Form Name 'Part' already exists
I've exported the package com.aras.innovator.solution.PLM from my development Innovator v11 SP15 server and I'm trying to do an import to my test server which is also v11 SP15. THis would be the 2nd import I've done to the test server of features developed on the dev server. I'm getting the error "Form with Form Name 'Part' already exists. if I click OK, I then get this error: And the part customization I did on the development server don't appear on the test server. What can I do to get passed this error? Is there a way to form the import? I'd like to replace the Part form on the test server with the one from the development server.4KViews0likes1CommentResponse speed of the ver11 become fast?
Hello all, I manage some development team of Aras Innovator for my clients. Some clients needs to become fast of response speed ver11 Sp8/15. Actually, upload xls/csv file to Aras and searching are very slowly response, 5mins or more. I'd already confirmed network speed, server spec, DB tuning, a lot of times. But, Aras DB will rock and down about uploading file or searching. Please, shared this and discuss or advice me. Thanks.1.5KViews0likes0CommentsExpress ECOs - Renumber and Supersede
When using the express ECO there are 2 actions (Renumber and Supersede) that are either; not working correctly or the documentation is unclear. For renumber and supersede there are no updates to the BOM as the documentation implies. My understanding from the PE documentation is: Renumber replaces an existing Part with its copy. The existing Part is copied as a new Part, which is assigned a new Part number, and released. The copied Part becomes the replacement Part in the BOM in which it is defined and supersedes the old Part. I see that on promoting express ECO to Draft Changes that a new part is created and the old part is marked as superseded. However, the Part is not replaced in the BOM. although it says "Superseded" there is no obvious way to view this on the BOM or what part superseded it. Supersede globally replaces one released Part with another released Part. The original Part is superseded. I see that on promoting express ECO to Draft Changes that the old part is marked as superseded. However, the Part is not replaced in the BOM. On the assembly part I see that it says "Superseded" there is no obvious way to view the superseded part except by navigating through ECO. The pictures show Assembly 1 contains Part 1 that I renumbered and Part 2 that is superseded. (For comparison: When I do a revise action on a part in the context of assembly the new revision of the part floats to the assembly. This behaves correctly and the traceability is clear in redline mode). Can you confirm the steps that the user should take to use renumber and supersede correctly, Thanks4.3KViews0likes1Comment
