Hey Aras builders! The Aras Connect Tour is back this year and bigger than ever, bringing the Aras community together for 9 events across 3 continents. Each Aras Connect event will provide attendees with opportunities to see how customers are solving problems with Aras, network with fellow community members in the region, and get the latest product news and vision.

That's not all there is to look forward to, though! We're also hosting Tech Summits at 3 of the Connect events in Europe:

These events will include classic Tech Summit content, such as news and demos from the builder community, plus a new hands-on session where attendees can try out some of the exciting features shown on the main stage.

If you might be interested in presenting at an upcoming Tech Summit (and earning some ✨exclusive swag✨), read on to learn more about how you can propose a session.

We're looking for speakers

Tech Summits are built around community knowledge sharing. You don't need to be a professional speaker or have a polished presentation. You just need a practical story to share. We're especially interested in sessions that are:

  • Practical and experience-based: real projects, real implementations, real outcomes
  • Technical but accessible: clear about what you built and why it matters
  • Community-focused: educational and informative, not sales pitches

Who should submit

If you configure solutions, develop applications, or integrate with the Aras ecosystem, we want to hear from you.

We strongly encourage submissions from first-time speakers, community contributors, customers, partners, and anyone with a practical story to share. Some of the best talks come from people who think their work is "just something we built." That's exactly what attendees want to hear about.

What kind of topics work?

Session ideas might include:

  • Technical walkthroughs of a feature or use case you've implemented
  • Live demos of tools or workflows you use to build Aras projects
  • Apps built with InnovatorEdge Builder and Edge APIs
  • Tips, patterns, or gotchas you wish you'd known earlier
  • Integrations with other platforms, APIs, or services
  • Experimental or "work in progress" ideas with lessons learned

If you're not sure whether your idea fits, submit it anyway. We're happy to help shape strong ideas.

How to present

This year, we're offering two options for sharing community knowledge at Tech Summit events – traditional 15-minute demos and 5-minute "lightning talks." Our hope is that the new 5-minute format will help us include more voices and offer a lower-commitment opportunity for folks who might otherwise be too busy or nervous to volunteer.

Live Demo (15 minutes)

One slide maximum, includes 3-5 minutes for questions. Good for demonstrating a use case and how you implemented it, or walking through how you built something.

Lightning Talk (5 minutes)

Good for sharing quick tips, techniques, tools, small prototypes, or features. Slides are ok, but not required.

How to submit

Interested in proposing a session? Just fill out this simple form to submit your idea for review. You'll be asked for:

  • A title for your session
  • A short description (150-300 words)
  • Which session format you prefer (Live Demo or Lightning Talk)
  • Which city you plan to attend (Stockholm, Paris, or Frankfurt)
  • Your name, role, and organization

You don't need slides or a finished demo at this point. We'll work with accepted speakers on timing and technical details after selection.

We accept submissions on a rolling basis until each agenda is full, so the earlier you submit, the better!

Can't make it to Europe? We're also bringing back the virtual Tech Summit later this fall. If you have an idea to share but you can't make it to an in-person event, you can submit a proposal for the virtual event instead.

Selection process

Submissions are reviewed by a small committee. We evaluate relevance, clarity, practical value, and fit with the session format. We aim to build a diverse agenda across topics, experience levels, and organizations.

We'll review submissions on a rolling basis and may reach out for a brief conversation about your topic before the final selection.

Questions?

If you have an idea but want feedback before submitting, or you're not sure how to shape your proposal, reach out. I'm happy to help!

We're excited to see what you're building, learning, and experimenting with - and we hope you'll consider sharing it with the community.
