Aras to SAP and Salesforce data exchange

Hi,

I wonder what methods are you using for data exchange between Aras PLM and other systems like Salesforce or SAP?

Are these community applications, some dedicated pieces of coding or other? I am looking for any advice or experience you may have.

Thank you for all your help

Robert

  • I think for both system many of the Aras partners offers integration solution. But if you do not fear coding, you can also do it by yourself.

As far I as know, both Salesforce and SAP support communication with REST. So it should be possible to use a federation approach to connect these systems.

This video from Minerva actually shows exactly this kind of integration:

  • Razorleaf’s Clover platform operates using industry standard connection methods including UPSers SOAP, Web Services and direct database connections and pairs with application-specific connectors to facilitate synchronized.

  • We (Plural Technology) have used middle ware: JBoss Fuse, Cloud based API gateway services (Azure, AWS), Mulesoft for data exchange, in the past.

Traditionally, we developed custom SOAP connectors, Web services based integrations to connect to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Salesforce, AS400 based ERP applications. For SAP you have connectors available from some Aras Partners.

  • So many employees of UPS are reporting that they are not able to access their accounts. As far as the portal is concerned, there is no technical error that is resisting that upsers login access.

  • The NJMCdirect portal is one of the best initiatives taken to avoid long queues at the police station for paying penalty fees. Instead, individuals can now directly take a look at the terms and conditions of the portal and pay the amount automatically.
