Writedebug method is throwing error in Aras12

Hello Team,

CCO.Utilities.WriteDebug is obsolete method and  for CCO.Logger.WriteDebug throwing following error in Aras 12

'CallContext' does not contain a definition for 'Logger' and no accessible extension method 'Logger' accepting a first argument of type 'CallContext' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?).

  • Hi Suhas,

I was able to reproduce this in a local 12.0 SP3 instance, but I'm not seeing anywhere that says CCO.Utilities.WriteDebug is an obsolete method. I believe there was a warning in 11.0 SP11+ when you tried to use this method, but using this method in my local instance didn't produce the same warning.

  • Hello Chris,

    Thanks for a quick response.

CCO.Utilities.WriteDebug is deprecated method. Please find the below screenshot.

We have used .dll file in Aras, and same method (CCO.Utilities.WriteDebug) throwing  exception file is used in other process.

I have deleted the files and it is not used anywhere while creation of 1st log only it is throwing exception. Please find the below screen shot:
