Hi, I have problem. Can you help me? I am trying to export a package.
I get the following error:
faultstring: RelationshipType with name=”ItemType_xPropertyDefinition” is not found.
faultdetail: RelationshipType with name=”ItemType_xPropertyDefinition” is not found.
faultcode: -1
I created Item Type and Relationship Type, when I use tool Package Import & Export, I have the error above.
How can I further analyze this error?
I am not 100% sure, but I do not think xProperties are already supported by SP9. I remember that I ran into a similar situation while testing the Federation sample in SP9. In my case, I just deleted the xProperty related Import Files from the Import Package and worked with the remaining rest (of course I used a test environment).
Thanks AngelaIp,
I also think like you, I tried to search XProperty but did not find. This error may be due to Export/Import SP12.
I have not fixed it yet.
Henry Tu,
Hello Henry,
Angela is correct. xProperties were introduced in 11.0 SP11, so you will not be able to import them into an SP9 database.
If you're getting this error when exporting the package, you may be running into an issue where the package definition itself is referencing the xProperty ItemTypes. If that's the case, you can resolve this issue by following the steps below.
Login as admin
Navigate to TOC > Administration > Configuration > PackageDefinitions
Search for the package you are trying to export and open it
In the Package Group relationship tab, you should see an entry with a name referencing xProperties
Delete the xProperty package group
Save the PackageDefinition
Try to run your export again

Thank Chris,
I tried to find it but did not see it. The call is xProperty, doesn't exist.
In Package Group, I only see field "Name".
I am using 11SP9.
Henry Tu,
Hi Henry,
Yes, the Package Group does contain only a name which is brief description of what kind of items are stored in that group, typically the name of the ItemType. Is there a Package Group named something like xProperty or xPropertyDefinition? If not, could you list what the Package Group names are in the package you're trying to export?
