Is it possible to update an item with AML and not change modified_by_id and modified_on

basically I currently ask the same question in this post: https://community.aras.com/f/development/37603/how-to-transfer-table-data-from-one-innovator-instance-to-another-fast-and-easy

To my current knowledge modified_by and others are system properties that are always set automatically. I assume this is done deep inside the Innovator core so we cannot influence it.

So far the only option I know is to use SQL for these kind of mass updates.

But I would also be interested in a solution, if there is one.
