Printable view / Print function

Hi Damie,

There's a couple different ways to go about this. 

You can configure what view is used to print your item by adding a new related Form and setting it's type to Print as outlined in the steps below.

1. Login as admin
2. Navigate to TOC > Administration > ItemTypes
3. Search for and open the desired ItemType
4. Navigate to the Views relationship tab
5. Add a new relationship to a form through this tab
6. Set the value of Type to Print
7. Configure the newly related form to look like how you want the printable view to look.

The second way may work better if you have an existing report that you want to be printed instead. If you're using a version of Innovator newer than 11.0 SP7, you can do this using CUI. You can hide the existing print button, and then add a new print button with custom functionality that prints your already existing report instead. We have a few blog posts that go over the basics of CUI, but this one in particular will show you how to add a new CUI button.
