I'm not familiar with the particulars of ThingWorx, but here's my general recommendation for integrations:
Regardless of what version of Aras Innovator you are using, you can also use AML to query Aras data via SOAP requests. If you are using Aras 11 SP12 or newer, you can use the RESTful API to retrieve data from Aras in OData JSON format. If you want a RESTful interface for earlier releases of Innovator, you can set up your own web service to convert queries to AML requests.
