Hyperlink to document

Within ARAS I have a page (TOC) that has hyperlinks to common documents users need. aras.mycompany.com/InnovatorProd Clicking on this doesn't just open the document or document detail, it opens a new ARAS instance window, then the document detail. Also, subsequent clicking of links doesn't work from the new window. Am I formatting the hyperlink incorrectly? Suggestions?
