Installation completed with no errors but when trying to browse to //localhost/InnovatorServer/Client I got an HTTP Error 500.10 ( it also referenced the web.config file but there was nothing wrong with it.

The solution was to download and install the MS .Net 8.0 Hosting bundle from

https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0/runtime

Once that was done and IIS restarted , the client responded properly.

Ask A Question I

Ask a question in a forum.

Installing Innovator rev 12 with Complete option results in Error when trying to log in

Last week I installed Rev 12 - was very curious about the new UI. For my first try I selected the Complete instead of the Custom option as recommended in the Installation manual . When that option is selected , the prompt for the OAuth Server password is skipped. The installation completes , but because the OAuth server password is missing , subsequent logins fail. Uninstalling and re-installing using the Custom option allows the OAuth password prompt to be displayed , and the installation works correctly.
